Boston Derby Dames

Created in 2005, the Boston Derby Dames is a founding member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association. We are proud to be skater-owned and operated. We practice at Fort Independence in Lynn, MA, and play in Wilmington and Cambridge, MA.

In our tenth season, we have more than 100 skating members, four home teams, two travel teams, and a recreational travel team. At home, Boston is represented by the Arkham Horrors, Cosmonaughties, Nutcrackers, and Wicked Pissahs; on the road, Boston has two travel teams: our all-star WFTDA-sanctioned team The Boston Massacre, and B-level team The Boston B Party.

Boston is also dedicated to training those with burgeoning derby dreams: In 2012, we created the TRT (Training and Recreational Team), a farm system that helps up-and-coming skaters realize their potential and acclimates transfers from other leagues. Once they've completed their TRT training, skaters can join our recreational C team, the Train Wrecks, and apply to be draft-eligible for our home and travel teams.

Our 2015 season takes place at Shriners Auditorium in Wilmington, MA, and Simoni Rink in Cambridge, MA; whether you're a roller derby veteran or a first-time derby spectator, we welcome you to come check out one of our bouts.
